Solving Customer Problem: Replacing a ‘legacy’ metal-based filter.
Our Solution: This is an example of a custom narrow band all dielectric filter, manufactured to a very tight specification (+/- 3nm on CWL /FWHM). The filter blocks from 300 to 1200 nm and is suitable for systems using a Silicon photodiode detector. Another important feature is the high blocking and high peak transmission which gives a vastly improved signal to noise ration when compared to non-dielectric filters. The filter is deposited using sputter technology which means extremely long service life in the field and highly temperature stable.
