Case Study:
This multi-layer anti-reflection coating was designed for use as a protective cover lens on a silicon photodiode detector. The uncoated B270 glass has an uncoated maximum transmission of 92% causing significant signal loss for the silicon photodiode detector across its sensitivity range 200 – 1200 nm. With this AR we were able to achieve greater than 98.5% transmission between 400 – 1000 nm significantly reducing signal loses. Silicon photodiode detectors are widely used across the photonics industry in many applications such as medical diagnostics, imaging technology, environmental monitoring and many more.
This process is a standard process and can be adapted and coated onto any substrate with any refractive index, please contact us to discuss the specifics of your requirement.
