Case Study: Filter to detect water content during food production.
Challenge: The continuous measurement of water content in food production can involve a wide range of environmental conditions. The filters must be highly stable and high performing.
Vortex Approach: We developed a filter with a centre wavelength of 1940nm and a bandwidth of 40nm to assess a well-known water (H₂O) absorption band. Additionally, the Vortex filter is deposited with our enhanced sputtering process which makes it rugged, durable and thermally stable unlike many traditionally evaporated filters.
Outcome: In a world where food security and quality have never been under more scrutiny, our customer is assured of countless years of consistent and accurate measurement on these continuous production lines.
